Pastor's Statement

Bethany Lutheran is a Bible based Church. We are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and part of the Northeast PA Synod . We put our faith in the Word of God as found in the Holy Scripture. We believe Scripture is the Inspired Word of God and directs us to be welcoming and loving. We welcome all here at Bethany Lutheran and hope, as our 'Mission Statement' says, that those who are in need can find comfort, a Savior, fellowship, and a place to Worship.

To the Members of Bethany

On behalf of the entire Church, I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and your gifts during this difficult financial time at Bethany.  I want you to know that what each and every one of you do in all of the various ways is greatly appreciated.  We give thanks for the volunteers who help in so many different ways, for those who bless us with their financial gifts, for all of the prayers, and all of the other blessings that have been given.  During this time, I continue to ask for your prayers as well as your gifts and talents for ministry.  If you can, please consider a special financial offering to Bethany, and if you cannot do that, perhaps consider how else you might help the ministry here.  We always have room for volunteers in so manydifferent ways.  As we approach Christmas and the birth of our Lord and Savior, take a moment and consider the blessings you have recieved and how you can be a blessing to others.  Peace to all of you.

Pastor Mike
